More Information
Bottles: Overall condition is good. There are some small nibbles and fractures to the highpoints of the glass decoration on the bottles and stoppers, but no large fractures that would affect the integrity of the bottles. Silver mounts show some denting and scratching consistent with use, but no splitting or major damage. Stand in good order, no signs of splitting, denting or major damage. Hallmarks to bottles show moderate wear but hallmarks to stand are crisp.
Scent flask: Heavy denting, concentrated to the stopper and borders of the bottle. Stopper is stuck and cannot be removed. Hallmarks are heavily worn, not legible. Some wear to decoration, but embossing is still clear. Possible small patch of solder repair to one side of the body of the bottle, at the central cartouche.
Propelling Pencil: Heavy splitting to the nib, no lead present. Some small denting, general scratching and wear consistent with use.
Travelling pencil: Some denting to case, moderate wear to engraved decoration. Pencil and led present. No signs of splitting, major damage or repair.
