Fees

A Victorian diamond floral spray brooch, designed as three flower heads set with old cut diamonds, set upon a foliate surround set throughout with further old cut diamonds, all set in white metal to a yellow metal reverse, hinged pin and safety loop fastening to reverse, 7cm wide, weight 13.7gms

More Information

The diamonds appear bright and white when viewed face up with the naked eye. A few of the smaller diamonds show a little more draw of colour, but largely they are well matched. No obvious inclusions visible with the naked eye. There are inclusions visible under 10x in some stones - clarity varies from stone to stone, however there is nothing lower then an SI. All diamonds are present - a few show small chips and nibbles, and general abrasions and wear commensurate with age and use, but largely they are in good order. Settings are in good order, some minor splitting, but no major damage or repair. Some misshaping to the pin, but largely it is in good order, working.
