An early 20th century opal and diamond three stone ring, the central oval opal cabochon with old cut diamond to each side, set in yellow metal claw setting edge leading to plain polished shank, ring size L, marked 'D' in lozenge to shank, 2.5gms, opal weight estimated 0.35ct, total diamond weight estimated 0.20ct

Stones are all present.
Diamonds are clean and well matched to the naked eye.
Inclusions are present, seen under x10 loupe.
Opal shows surface blemishes, particularly seen to dome of the cabochon.
Lively green play of colour.
Claws require attention to the side of the opal.
Possibly has been re-tipped recently.
Tarnishing seen to the metal, particularly to the under bezel.
No obvious signs of repair, or resizing
Hand engraved numbering to interior.
Minor thinning seen to the shank.
