A George II silver sugar caster, Samuel Wood, London 1741, of baluster form on circular foot with pierced pull off cover, 18.3cm long, weight 7.70ozt

Some light denting to the cover and the body, mostly concentrated around the foot, waist and piercing. Moderate scratching and general wear to the body and cover. Some splitting and thinning to the pierced decoration on the cover, but it is largely in tact. Some wear to the crest, but this is still crisp and clear. Some possible signs of solder repair (see pictures for illustration). Hallmarks are slightly worn, but are largely crisp and clear (see pictures for illustration).
