A Victorian coral and diamond 18ct gold ring, the central coral cabochon measuring 9.5mm diameter, within a border surround of mixed cut diamonds, all claw set to pierced gallery, split scrolling shoulders and plain polished shank, marks for 'T.BROS', Birmingham 1899, size M 1/2, weight 4.3gms

More Information

Central cabochon is slightly loose, wobbling in it's setting. This cabochon may be a later replacement. Please see pictures for further illustration.

Central coral is in largely good order - a patch to the reverse appears to be damaged and with possible signs of glue repair. There is a small drill hole to the reverse. Cabochon shows general scratching and wear commensurate with age. All diamonds are present - a few show minor chips and nibbles, but largely are in good order. Diamonds appear secure, settings and gallery in good order. Shoulders and shank are in good order, no signs of thinning or splitting. There are possible signs of resizing to the shank. Moderate scratching to the shank commensurate with age and use.
