A William and Mary and later figured walnut bureau, in two sections, the feather banded fall front opening to a compartmentalised interior over two frieze drawers, the lower section with three conforming oak lined graduated drawers applied with brass tear drop handles and brass side swing handles, raised upon later bun feet, 107cm H x 97cm W x 57cm D (at fault)

Split to the veneer on the bureau top, 10cm long, also a smaller split along with general marks, chips and scratches.
The fall front is mounted on later hinges, and has splits, repairs and ripples in the veneer. The drawers have replaced locks one drawer missing a lock, all handles and escutcheons are later replaced.
Drawer liners have some minor joint splits, and run on later draw rails, feet also replaced.
Minor historic repairs to the moulding on the drawer frames, overall general wear and fading commensurate with age and use
