A Victorian silver calling card case by Colen Hewer Cheshire, Birmingham 1898, of rectangular form with moulded border, with scrolling floral decoration and monogrammed initials to central cartouche, 10cm x 7.2cm, weight 65.2gms

Overall condition is good. There is a moderate amount of denting concentrated to the high points of the border. No splitting or signs of repair visible. All engraved decoration is crisp. Hinged cover opens smoothly and closes securely. Hallmarks have some wear, but are clear and legible. General scratching and signs of wear consistent with use.
