An unusual carved and polished bugbear coconut flask or sailors token, early 19th century, incised with a reserve of a palm tree and engraved '18th Sept 1828, Jamaica' beside a further cartouche 'Let Glasgow Flourish' beneath the Glasgow city crest, and a further vacant cartouche with entwined rose and thistle garland, above a heart shaped motif, 15cm long
