A 19th century continental amethyst and pearl brooch, the central oval mixed cut amethyst measuring 26mm x 18mm, with a petal border surround set with half-pearls, all set in yellow metal, pin and loop fastening to reverse, stamped '585', indistinctly stamped to pin, 33mm x 26mm, together with a further amethyst brooch, 28mm x 21mm, gross weight 26.6gms (2)
