A Victorian ruby glass and silver mounted scent bottle, possibly Birmingham 1892, (maker's mark worn), of cylindrical form with engraved foliate detail to hinged cover, 8cm high

Overall condition is good. Medium sized conchoidal fracture to the rim of the base (visible in the first image) measuring 4mm x 5mm. Cover is in good order, hinge opens smoothly, and cover closes with a snap. Some denting to the cover concentrated around the edge. Heavy wear to the hallmarks. Stopper in good order.
