More Information

Overall fair. There are areas of repair to the back legs, and signs of further repairs concentrated around the legs. There are small areas of splitting, mostly concentrated around details and highpoints, as well as beginning signs of splits to other areas. The body and face has a moderate scattering of small to medium dents, moderate scratching and wear. The velvet of the pin cushion is in good order, minor wear and tear only, but may be a later replacement. Date letters are worn, but the maker's mark, city letter and lion passant are all legible.
