A Victorian cut glass silver mounted hip flask by Thomas Johnson I, London 1878, of faceted form with screw cap and detachable stirrup cup, 10.2cm long, together with a George V silver capstan inkwell by A & J Zimmerman Ltd, Birmingham 1919, 4.5cm high (2)

Inkwell: Very good, small dent to the rim of the base measuring approx. 1.5cm across. Hinged cover opens and closes smoothly. General scratching and wear to surface. Moderate wear to leather base. Glass liner does appear to be a later addition.

Hip flask: Overall good. No chips, cracks or losses to the glass. Cap has a moderate amount of denting, but no splitting, and screws down securely. No splits or dents to the detachable stirrup cup, gilt interior in good order, detaches and re-attaches smoothly and securely.
