An early 20th century Arts and Crafts honey oak refectory table in the manner of Ernest Gimson (1864- 1919), the rectangular four plank raised upon plain legs of square section united by chamfered cross stretchers extending to peg detail, the central cross stretcher united to the table top by chamfered wishbone cross stretchers, 75cm H x 202cm W x 95cm D

Note: Ernest Gimson was one of the most influential Arts and Crafts designers of his time, the 'wishbone' design of this table is very similar to a twin wishbone refectory table recently sold and also attributed to Gimson

More Information

General minor stains, light burn marks, scratches and a hairline split to the table top (see further image).
Only very light wear to legs and cross stretchers with the table in good solid condition, no play in the joints.
