A hinged lower-cannon from a Vambrace, for the right arm, together with a spaulder, upper-cannon and bracelet cowter, Italian, late 16th century, the first piece comprising two plates joined by hinges and closed by a stud, both plates bordered by a recessed band about the cuff, the outer plate additionally recessed at its outer upper border, and the edges finished with plain turns, 23cm long, cuff 8cm diameter, the spaulder with traces of etched ornament, maximum length 35cm (2) (at fault)
