An Art Nouveau silver toast rack, Keswick School of Industrial Art, Chester 1906, the six slice rack with planished shield form ends and sinuous details, 9.5cm long, gross weight 4.1ozt (at fault)

More Information

Hallmarks clear and legible, one end panel of toast rack completely severed from body, appears to have snapped, will need reattaching, slight misshaping to slice partitions, possible evidence of re-soldering in several areas, two pin brick holes to either shield end suggests previous repair, small holes and solder droplet to base, tarnishing throughout, piece would benefit from a clean, rubbing to higher points of relief but planishing still distinctive, surface scratching and wear throughout commensurate with age and usage. Please see additional images to illustrate points raised.
