A George V glass and silver locking decanter by Asprey & Co Ltd, Birmingham 1932, of square form decorated in the 18th century Dutch style with grapes and vine leaves, 21.5cm high

Overall condition is good. No major cracks, fractures or breakages. Two very small coccoidal fractures, one to the stopper and one to the side. General scratching, concentrated to the base. Small bubbles and pinprick imperfections visible in the glass. There are a moderate amount of small dents to the silver mount and relatively heavy scratching. The lock itself is heavily dented and scratched. There is no key with this lot. The latch does close and 'click' into place, but will release when the stopper is removed and is not secure.
