A well matched set of six Victorian elm and ash kitchen chairs, each with a serpentine lath back over a shaped seat, upon turned legs and peg feet, united by a tapering 'H' cross stretcher, 89cm high (6) (some historic worm)

One chair has some play in the lath back and evidence of worm in the top rail and also legs and cross stretcher, evidence of worm in three other chairs generally in the legs but also to the seat in one chair, further smaller areas of worm possible.
Chairs appear to have been applied with a red paint/stain which is know worn, however apart from the one chair the five remaining chairs appear firm with little or no play in the joints.
