Fees

A rummer, of typical form, the straight sided conical bowl naively engraved 'WW 1832', set on an annular shoulder knop, the plain stem on stepped spreading foot, unground pontil, 12cm high, with three similar rummers, and eight larger rummers of similar form, the largest 13.5cm high (12) (at fault)

More Information

No cracks, chips, or losses to any of the examples in this lot. All show scratching and wear, particularly concentrated around the base. Each example shows some blowing bubbles and imperfections in the glass. The feet of most of the rummers are quite thick, and although they all appear broadly in proportion, it is possible that some may have been ground down slightly to remove small chips.
