More Information

Heavy splitting and denting to the highpoints of the decoration. There are some signs of previous repair which have since worn away. There is lifting to the silver mount throughout, but it is most prominent to the bottom right corner - several of the pins are missing. Some nibbling to the edge of the glass in the aperture, but no large cracks, chips or losses. Very heavy wear to the black leather reverse. Areas of splitting to the wooden frame. Pins securing bac plate appear to the later, and the backplate is loose. Stand appears to be later, and is slightly wobbly. Several splits/punctures to the back plate, visible to the other side through the glass. Several pulls and stains to the green lining. See pictures for illustration.
