A silver plated samovar, late 19th/early 20th century, of urn form, with relief cast floral and foliate decoration and Art Nouveau motifs throughout, the rectangular handles with scrolled acanthus leaf terminals, cover with acorn finial, the tap with turned wooden detail, the knopped stem set to a spreading foot, 57cm high

Overall condition fair, moderate to heavy tarnish and scratching all over the surface. Areas of wear to the plate concentrated at finial, handles and high points. Samovar bends forward, does not sit straight. The finial also has a slight bend. There is some small areas of splitting, concentrated around raised areas of decoration.
