The glass stopper is stuck to the inside of the bottle. It appears that the bottle may have been gilt on the exterior at some point but is heavily worn. No denting, thinning, signs of repair or restoration, or splitting. Hinged cover opens smoothly and closes securely, but does not sit completely flush. There are some areas of heavy scratching, concentrated at the cover and on the base. The engravings are crisp and clear. Hallmarks are crisp and clear.
