A Chinese silver coloured box and cover, of tapering circular form, embossed and engraved with koi carp in a pond surrounded by reeds and irises, opening to reveal an inner cover with planished finish, plain polished interior, Chinese character mark to base, 7cm high, weight 7.95ozt (at fault)

This lot has three separate parts.

The cover is heavily dented around the edges. There are several small splits to the detailing of the cover. Possible signs of solder repair to the reverse of the iris. Scratching and wear throughout.

The inner cover shows a few mid-sized dents, but no thinning, splitting or signs of repair. Moderate scratching and wear throughout.

The box shows many mid to large sized dents throughout. No large or obvious sign of splitting or repair. Moderate scratching and wear throughout. Light denting, heavy scratching and wear to liner. See pictures for illustration.
