A Light Dragoons non-commissioned Ranks Sabre, circa 1770, with slender slightly curved blade formed with a clipped point and boldly stamped ‘GR’ crowned, the cutler’s name ‘Drury’ stamped beneath, slotted hilt drawn-up to a slender knuckle-guard, spirally moulded wooden grip retaining an early fishskin covering, probably the original, and with domed cap pommel surmounted by a prominent button, blade length 81cm
