£420
A tondeau stained and painted glass panel, possibly 16th century and later, the central panel depicting a lord dining below a coat of arms, surrounded by oak leaf and scroll panels, the glass with silver stain yellow highlights, 34cm diameter (at fault)
More Information
There has been several areas which have been broken and later repaired or re-enforced with later joints, as pictured. Other then these areas, there are no cracks, chips or losses to the glass visible with the naked eye. The lead on the joints does appear to be a slightly different colour and brightness to the frame, possibly indicating later repair. There are some gaps between the frame and the glass. There is scratching and wear to the glass, and denting to the frame, commensurate with age and use.
