A late Victorian silver teapot, George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1899, of oval form with half-fluted decoration, ebonised knop and angular handle, 14.7cm high

Large dent to the base, about 5cm wide. A few other small dents around the base (see pictures). A few small dents to the side of the body. General scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, no splitting or signs of repair. Some nicks, scratching and wear to the handle. Handle and knop are secure, cover opens smoothly and closes flush. Moderate wear to the hallmarks.
