A near pair of early 18th century oak chairs, each with a vase shaped splat over a board seat, raised upon turned baluster and block supports, united by peripheral cross stretchers, 99cm high (at fault) (2)

Both chairs show movement in the frames and open joints. One also shows a loose panel to the seat and woodworm damage and losses to the leg structure. Both may have been reduced in height at some point in the past.
