More Information

Jug: There appears to be a polished seam running from the lip to the base, possibly indicating repair. There is also a polished seam across the handle where it meets the body, which could also be indicative of repair. There are some small dents, mostly concentrated at the baluster waist. General scratching, wear and tear to exterior and interior commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks and decoration are slightly worn, but clear.

Candlestick: Blue velvet base shows moderate wear and tear. There is very heavy denting and scratching around the base, and in some places the silver is coming away slightly from the weighted base. There is general scratching, wear and tear to the column and capital. The embossed decoration is quite worn, and has lost a moderate amount of definition.
