A pair of Victorian papier mache face screens, each fan shaped and decorated with a peacock and an exotic bird perched upon a floral bouquet, turned gilt wood handles, 41cm long overall, with a collection of Victorian papier mache lacquer ware to include a set of three Wontner and Benson of London oval dishes, a larger example by the same maker, a rectangular stationary box 20.5cm wide, and further oval and rectangular trays (18) (at fault)

Gilt highlights are worn/rubbed throughout.
Crazing seen throughout decoration and reverse of screens, including star cracks(see images)
Paint on handles in chipped and worn.
Wontner and Benson oval dishes:
Gilt highlights rubbed throughout.
Peeling to base of one dish (see images)
Some evidence of retouched sections of the dishes, especially to rim.
Scratches and blemishes seen throughout all dishes.
Larger Wontner and Benson oval dish:
Gilt highlights rubbed.
Dents seen to rim (see images)
Rectangular stationary box:
Gilt highlights rubbed.
Dent/missing mache to interior of box (see images)
Loss of paint to cover.
Card case:
Glue residue to interior.
Join coming apart (see images)

Crack/possible repair to rim of large oval dish (see images)
All items within with rubbing to gilt highlights and paint, scuffs, blemishes and dents commensurate with age and use.
