A Worcester porcelain teapot circa 1780, decorated in a kakiemon design with alternating panels, the cover with typical floral knop, square fret mark to base, (rivet repaired and restored knop) 14cm high, with a Newhall commode shape teapot and cover, decorated in pattern 'N 173', 15cm high (at fault) (2)

Newhall example: Hairline cracks throughout the body of teapot, which are visible on the outside and the inside. The are several cracks to the spout of the teapot, which has had a later metal tip added on, and also shows signs of restoration where the spout meets the body. Restoration and repair to the neck of the teapot. Chips and losses to the edge of the base. Loss of enamel to the body and the cover. There is a crack to the knop of the cover, and possibly a missing embellishment to the finial. Please see additional images for illustration.

Worcester teapot: large cracks to the body, visible on the exterior and interior. This has been rivet repaired in places. Possible signs of restoration to the body and around the handle. General scratching, wear and tear commensurate with age and use. Evidence of heavy restoration to the floral knop of the cover.
