A composite Hunting-sword, with late 17th century blade struck with a king’s head mark in the German manner and engraved at the base, the hilt formed of a natural staghorn grip and an altered brass small-sword hilt, the latter including an outer shell decorated with a crowned portrait bust within a frame of pierced scrollwork (the knuckle-guard incomplete), blade length 46cm
