HUNTING INTEREST: A Victorian silver mounted hunting flask, Griffiths & Singleton, Birmingham 1900, of typical tapering form with plain polished mount, 22cm long, complete in a brown leather case (at fault), together with another cased hunting flask, 23.5cm cm long, a stainless steel hip flask, 13cm long, a Victorian silver mounted riding crop, 71.5cm long, a leather example by Swain Adeney Brigg, 77cm long, and a further leather example, 79cm long (6)

More Information

The silver mounted flask shows two large dents to the cap, a chip to the neck under the silver mount and a crack to the base. The second flask shows wear to the cap but no chips, cracks or losses to the glass. Both flasks show shrinkage to the cork seals. Both cases show wear to the leather commensurate with age and use, but all stitching appears to be intact.
