An 18th century and later oak coffer, the rectangular moulded top above three invert moulded front panels, raised upon stile feet, 58cm H x 112cm W x 43cm D

Top panel shows replaced front edge with open join sagging in the centre and various natural faults, splits etc. Hinges possibly later. Lock panel present, lacking mechanism. Exterior edges of base board show evidence of extensive, historic worm and decay. Feet show similar extensive decay to the back edges (back legs repaired to address this). Some evidence of minor historic worm, particularly to the interior.
