A set of four Victorian elm and beech kitchen chairs, each with a pierced and inverted vase shaped splat over a figured elm seat, upon ring turned tapering legs, 85cm high, along with four late Victorian walnut salon chairs, each with an angular carved top rail and splat over a stuff-over bow front seat, upon fluted slender front legs and peg feet, plain back swept rear legs, 89cm high (8)

One of the elm chairs has a repair to a back leg which appears bowed, the top rail also needs securing as it is detachable, however this is not detrimental to the chairs stability, otherwise all chairs have general light wear and fading with no major visible faults or repairs and little or no play in the joints.
The walnut chairs all appear firm with little or no play in the joints, general light wear commensurate with age and use.
