A French Kingwood and marble topped Vernis Martin type jardinière stand, early to mid 20th century, the shaped variegated marble top (at fault) over a bombe shaped cabinet applied with Vernis Martin style panels depicting landscapes and figures making merry, upon slender out swept supports united by an under tier, applied overall with gilt metal mounts, sabot and banding, 122cm H x 31cm Sq (at fault)
