A 17th century oak coffer, the hinged cover above a nulled frieze and three panels, the central panel carved with a Romayne roundel portrait within a lozenge, and flanked by carved flower head lozenges, raised upon stile feet, 69cm H x 122cm w x 58cm D (at fault)

7cm chip to the top of the chest, hinges are later, moulded bars applied to the underside of the top, one has extensive historic worm.
Evidence of historic worm in one interior corner post, with evidence of worm to the feet and some minor losses.
Small metal bracket added to the rear of the chest, split running full height to the right hand side panel.
Top frieze and moulding possibly later associated
