A 17th century carved oak back stool, the carved scroll top rail above a leaf carved back panel and a later upholstered seat re-covered in tapestry fabric depicting foliage and birds in flight, raised upon bobbin turned front legs united by a conforming cross stretcher and plain rear legs, 110cm high, along with a second 17th century carved oak back stool, the back panel centred with a carved foliate lozenge, above a board seat similarly carved and raised upon ring turned tapering legs and block feet, united to rear legs of square section by peripheral cross stretchers, 101cm high (2)
