A William and Mary figured walnut chest of drawers, the rectangular crossbanded top inlaid with cordate form spandrel stringing and enclosed by a moulded rim, over two short and three long conforming drawers, each oak lined running front to back, and applied with brass back plates and swing handles, raised upon later bun feet, 84cm H x 95cm W x 55cm D (at fault)

All feet have been replaced, possible boards replaced to the back, with splice type joint running the full height of the LHS at the rear edge, dark water stain to the chest top, with other general marks and stains commensurate with age, 'ripple' effect under the veneer on the top of the chest, locks have been replaced and the handles are probably associated, drawer runners have been replaced with some restoration to the drawer liners, overall general wear commensurate with age and loss
