A George III period handwritten cook’s notebook containing Culinary Recipes and Medicinal Recipes, early 19th century, the culinary recipes to include “To Make Shrewsbury Cakes” and “Carrot Pudding”, with some (presumably unappetising) recipes crossed out, the medicinal recipes to include “An Excellent Recipe For A Sore Mouth” and “An Infallible Cure For The Bite Of A Mad Dog”, the first entry dated November 26th 1812, with a further handwritten recipe book with recipes to include "Ginger Bread" and "Elderberry Wine" (at fault)
