An embroidery of a religious figure, possibly Saint Catherine, possibly 17th Century, comprised of cotton and silk and highlighted with gold coloured thread, 61cm high, framed and glazed (at fault), together with a part woven tapestry banner, late 17th/early 18th century, comprising several tapestry fragments stitched to a later backing, the central cartouche depicting a crown, the surround decorated with grapes and floral motifs, flanked by a mask to each side (possibly Bacchus), 127cm wide (at fault), and a further tapestry panel, late 17th/early 18th Century, depicting a classical figure playing a violin within a foliate surround, 75cm long (at fault), and a further floral tapestry banner, 228cm long (at fault) (4)

Tapestry banner with crown: Heavily worn. Large tears throughout, heavy pulling, thinning and staining. The tapestry appears to have been comprised of several different pieces of tapestry which have been stitched together. The tapestry has been sewn onto a later backing. Please see additional images for illustration.
Tapestry with classical figure: Heavily worn, with tearing, pulling and thinning throughout. The border appears to be a later addition. Please see pictures for illustration.
