The piece shows a repaired split, surface wear, scratching, dents etc to the top. The leg structure appears sturdy. The lower shelf shows open joints wear it meets the leg structure at the corners, but these are not structural. The rail detail below the top appears secure, but shows and open joint and some loose spindles. The ebonised finish shows fine surface wear, the odd scuff and minor surface scratching throughout.
