The folded edges of the canvas which secure it to the stretcher are very worn, and the securing tacks have pulled through the canvas in a number of places. The canvas shows a 5cm crease to the top edge which has resulted in some paint loss along the fold. The paint surface shows craquelure throughout and various areas of surface wear. UV examination reveals evidence of minor restoration.
