An early 20th century Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring, the central cushion cut sapphire with double claw setting edge, leading to mixed cut diamond set shoulders within milgrain setting edge and plain polished shank, stamped ‘*ct’ with inventory marks ‘7211’ ring size L ½, 2.7gms, total sapphire weight estimated 3.10ct (9.06 x 7.84 x 4.53mm)

Claws are present to the sapphire.
Sapphire is a lovely bright blue colour to the naked eye, there are minor natural inclusions present under x10 loupe.
There is residue seen to the under bezel and metal areas surrounding the stone, may benefit from a clean.
Diamonds are present to the shoulders.
Wear and rubbing seen to the milgrain setting edges in the shoulders, commensurate with age and wear.
Possible area of repair to the under bezel (see images)
No obvious major signs of splits or repairs to the shank.
Thinning seen, commensurate with age and wear.
