More Information
Jewellery Box: Cover has heavy sun-damage, but no cracks, chips or losses. Cover closes flush, but is stiff to open and close, and does become stuck. Hinge is in good order. There is heavy denting to the sides and raised borders, but no splitting or signs of solder or repair. One of the feet has split where it meets the body (as pictured), and all legs show some degree of misshaping, however there are no signs of repair and it does sit flat on a level surface. All the legs match. There is a beige coloured velvet an silk lining, which is heavily stained and worn, and coming away slightly from the sides. Please see further images for illustration.
Bottle: Good order. No cracks, fractures or loss to the glass, general scratching and wear to the base and surface commensurate with age and use. There are small chips and losses to the edges and highpoints of the silver detail on the bottle. Stopper is in good order, heavy wear and frosting to the contact points, but no chips or losses.
