A George II silver desk stand, Simon Pantin II, London 1731, the rectangular shaped stand with raised rim supporting a pounce pot and inkwell interspersed with a central well (for a desk bell), the surface with an engraved crest, all upon four scroll cast feet, the white metal inkwell and pounce pot (both unmarked) of inverted baluster form and 6cm high, stand 25.5cm long, 22ozt (3)

Central well vacant with desk bell missing.
Dents to ink well (see images)
Visible join to inkwell, possibly a repair (see images)
Solder marks to underside of both inkwell and pounce pot.
Overall minor scratches, dents and tarnishing to inkwell and pounce pot.
Desk stand:
All four feet have visible solder marks where they meet the tray (see images)
Minor scratches, dents and tarnishing/discolouration to the tray.
Engraved crest a little worn.
Dents seen to underside of rim (see images)
