A 19th century carved hardstone cameo set stick pin, the oval shaped cameo carved with the profile of a veiled figure facing dexter, possibly a Vestal Virgin, 17mm x 13mm, set to an unmarked gold coloured mount and pin, overall length 8.5cm, weight 4.5gms

There is what appears to be a crack/loss to the face of the figure (see pictures). There is a crack running almost the length of the cameo on the reverse. Cameo shows scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, but no other cracks, chips or losses. Rear securing mount slightly raised, sticking out of the setting (see pictures). Some misshaping to the pin.
