The paint surface shows small areas of craquelure and some small scuffs, including a 6cm diagonal scuff above the tree, and further scuffs to the top left corner. Examination under UV shows no evidence of repair or restoration. The paint surface is dirty and would benefit from cleaning. The frame appears to be structurally sound, but shows small scuffs and losses to the gilt finish. The mount is loose within the frame and shows further small losses to the finish.
