A cut-steel Small-sword, circa 1780/90, with tapering hollow-triangular blade, the hilt with oval guard, the inner face lined by a plate pierced and engraved with acanthus and laurel ornament, with faceted pommel and original grip bound with patterned wire and ribband (the hilt rubbed, oxidised throughout), blade length 80cm

The blade appears to be fairly straight but has a 3mm kink 5mm from the tip. The hilt is oxidised and rubbed throughout.
