A 19th century garnet, pearl and enamel brooch pendant, in the manner of Carlo Giuliano, the scrolling foliate lozenge-shaped mount set with mixed cut garnets, the principal garnet measuring 5.95mm x 6.2mm, decorated with polychrome enamel, suspending graduated pearl and garnet droppers, with later brooch and pendant fittings to reverse, drop 5.5cm long, 4.2cm wide, weight 12.7gms (at fault)

There is evidence of solder repair to the reverse of the brooch in several places. The brooch and pendant fittings are later additions. There is some misshaping to the pendant fitting. Extensive loss to the enamel in several places. All stones are present and secure. Scratching, wear and tear to stones and setting commensurate with age and use. See pictures for illustration.
