A Chinese red painted altar chair, late 19th/early 20th century, the horse shoe shaped top rail above a central splat, carved in relief with a dragon motif, above the board seat, supported upon rounded legs united by peripheral cross stretchers, 96cm high (at fault)

Extensive restoration/repairs to the top rail, some rubbed paint loss to seat, splat and top rail.
Evidence of repair to underside of front RH leg with glue residue where leg extension has been reattached.
30cm split in board seat running width ways, other general minor wear commensurate with age and use
