A pair of late Victorian silver candlesticks, William Devenport, Birmingham 1900, each with plain polished tapering stems, the sconces and weighted bases of shaped square form with embossed scrolling detail, each 12.5cm high (2)

Both examples show small splits and denting the the edges and highpoints of the sconces. Stems show light denting, scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. Many small dents around the highpoints and edges of the base, some areas of minor splitting around the base. Both bases lack fabric covers. No signs of repair to either example.
